Neetu Ghanghas becomes IBA Women's World Boxing Championship 2023

Neetu Ghanghas was born on 19 October 2000 in Dhanana village of Bhiwani district, Haryana.

He started boxing at the age of 12 and in two years he surprised the world by winning a medal at the state level competition in Haryana.

Commonwealth Games gold medalist Neetu Ghanghas (48kg) clinched the World Championship title with a win over Lutsaikhan Altansetseg of Mongolia here on Saturday.

The Indian produced a stellar performance to thrash Altansettseg 5-0 and clinch the featherweight title in front of a packed crowd.
